Raised in Guildford, western Sydney and from early teenage years had an ambition to work in the media.
Did work experience as a 15 year old at Mason Stewart publishing in Darlinghurst, Sydney.
For a week spent time with editors of Australian Cricket Magazine, Smash Hits and Playboy.
That week tought me the value of hard work and in order to have a career in this crowded market, I'd have to stand out from the crowd.
I bought a camera and started photographing musicians, sports people and actors
Then submitted ideas and resumes to over 100 places.
Voya Rajic, Head of SBS Television Australia showed interest in my ideas and gave me a job straight out of school.
I stayed at SBS for seven years, starting as a tape librarian before becoming an editor then producer.
In 1998 was a features and segment producer at the Football World Cup in Paris. Where for the first time, I travelled outside of Australia. Life was peachey.
